Meteoria exhibition's opening hours

General opening hours:

  • 3.6 - 17.6  
    Wednesdays 6-8pm and Sundays 12-4pm
    as well as Saturdays 6.6 and 13.6 12-4pm

EXTRA LONG OPENING HOURS DURING THE PEAK SUMMER SEASON

  • 21.6 - 9.8
    open every day 12-18
  • 12.8 - 30.9 
    Wednesdays 6-8pm and Sundays 12-4pm
    and Saturdays 15.8, 22.8 and 29.8 12-4pm

 

Entrance fees during general opening hours

The price includes guided tours.

  • Adults €10
  • Seniors €7
  • Students €5
  • Children and young people 7-17 years €3 

If you come to the Meteoria by bike or on foot, you get a 2 euro discount on the entrance fee.
- We want to encourage efforts for the environment and climate, as Visit Finland has granted Meteoria Sustainable Travel Finland a certificate and status as a pioneer for sustainable development.

Group prices

  • Minimum fee for small groups 90 €
    Groups of 11-15 people: 9 €/person
    Groups of 16-20 people: 8.50 €/person
    Groups over 20 people: 8 €/person
    School group with teacher max. 30 people: 60 €
    • For school groups, special programs can also be booked - see Special programs here (to be compiled later)
    • For groups with special requests, an additional charge may be added
    • All prices include guided tours.
  • Overnight stays in a camper/caravan in the Meteoria area are subject to a parking fee of €10/night.

The pumping station, Södersund's mamsell mill or Öjberget

For groups, a guided tour can also be booked at

  • Söderfjärden's pumping station
  • Södersund's windmill
  • Öjberget's nature trail and Stone Age discovery site
